Brisbane's Bloom Parade Arrive With Debut Single Recurring Dream
Having sprung up on the scene late last year, Brisbane's Bloom Parade are making fast tracks towards your favourite discoveries of 2018 lists with their remarkably strong debut Recurring Dream. A song that is simply put very bloody pretty.
Bloom Parade's Recurring Dream is a beautifully intricate piece of dreamo that blossom from a delicate, hazy number into something truly remarkable over the course of the 3 minutes 32 seconds you get to spend digging about the song before being forced to bring it back for a second listen. The whole thing sweeps through you and lifts you into a feeling of it's namesake on the back of washed out guitars and fragile vocals that sit soft with you as the listener in such a way you can't help but be charmed.
Having grown from the bedroom solo project of Mitchell Manz over the course of leaving his hometown and finding familiar in Brisbane and his new bandmates, Bloom Parade have my ears pricked up early as an artist that truly has me listening. With a their debut EP schedule for sometime this year, I'm glad to be tuned in.
